SLOVAKIA COUNTRY ENDOWMENT

Established in 2003 with a gift from J. Rex and Nancy Enoch of Perryville, Arkansas.

Slovakia and the Czech Republic peacefully split on January 1, 1993. Since that time, Slovakia has done a relatively good job of making the transition to a market economy, but there are still areas of the country that need our help. Heifer International is currently working in Slovakian villages, helping families become self-reliant by giving them the resources to start professional, local, small-scale breeding farms.

To help these families become self-reliant, please give today.

I/We understand that this gift is given to an endowment at Heifer International Foundation and that the principal of the Fund shall remain intact and shall not be subject to invasion or distribution. I understand that 5.5% of the attributed earnings will be made available to Heifer International annually for its intended use.

I/We understand that if the Board of Trustees of Heifer International Foundation shall at any time determine that the uses of the Endowment are no longer appropriate and in accord with my/our desires and the objectives and principles of Heifer International Foundation, then Heifer International Foundation may, in the exercise of discretion, direct the application of the same in whole or in part to meet other appropriate projects as close as possible to the original intent and within the general charitable purposes of Heifer International Foundation.
