If you want to honor the special day of a loved one, you may consider giving to the Special Occasion Endowment, which helps provide a gift of food- and income-producing animals to impoverished families and communities. Every year in the future, income from your gift will be used by Heifer Project International to help families produce food and income for themselves.

How to Give

For a gift of $2,500 or more, the person you have chosen to honor will receive a card every year explaining that a gift has been made in honor of that special day.
